U.S. candidates blitz states as Super Tuesday looms
Hillary is losing because so many americans are tired of the clintonesque dramas that NEVER go away. We americans do not owe the Clintons another presidency. I was happy that Obama mentioned that Hillary's healthcare plan when she was first lady was a huge failure in Congress, and there were legal concerns because she was just a first lady and not a federal employee. She would not reveal any details of her plan. Now she won't reveal her federal tax returns. The clintons should just go away and leave us alone. .
Manufacturing lowest in nearly 5 years
The Institute for Supply Management's (ISM) manufacturing index fell to 48.3 from 50.7 in January. Economists were expecting a reading of 48, according to a consensus compiled by Briefing.com. The tipping point for the index is 50, with a reading above that reflecting growth in the sector. A reading below 50 represents a decline in manufacturing. The overall reading of the index is the weakest since April 2003, and it also marks the seventh of the past eight months that the index has registered a decline from the previous month. "This was largely expected, but still not a good sign for the manufacturing sector," said Wachovia economist Adam York. "It's just one more sign that there's economic weakness in the economy," added York, who believes that this report will give the Federal Reserve further incentive to cut rates at a meeting later this month.
PALESTINIANS CLAIM WMD CAPABILITY
The Fatah terrorist faction has claimed the capability of chemical and biological weapons and has threatened Israel with a WMD attack, according to the Jerusalem Post. Leaflets distributed in the Gaza Strip state that the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade has spent the last three years developing the capabilty, the start of which seems oddly coincidental to the fall of Saddam Hussein (via Reliapundit): The Aksa Martyrs' Brigades group announced on Sunday that it its members have succeeded in manufacturing chemical and biological weapons to be used against Israel. In a leaflet distributed in the Gaza Strip, the group, which belongs to Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah party, said the weapons were the result of an effort that has lasted for three years. The statment was a response to an Israeli Security Cabinet decision to give the IDF the green light to prepare all the forces necessary for a military operation against Gaza terror cells.
UW takes advantage at the line
It wasn't long ago that free throws were an item on the Wyoming Cowboys' laundry list of problems. But after a 26-of-27 day from the line led to a 72-64 win over Utah in Laramie on Saturday, free-throw shooting is one quandary that can be considered fixed."We work on it a lot," UW coach Heath Schroyer said after the Cowboys' second consecutive win. "We shoot them every day for 15 minutes or so."And I think the guys are starting to value how important they are."UW senior forward Joseph Taylor echoed that sentiment and pointed to one game where he found out the hard way just how important free throws can be.Taylor was just 1-for-6 from the charity stripe in the Pokes' first meeting with Air Force, a costly overtime loss at home in which the team made just 13 of 22 attempts."I missed that shot at Air Force," he said.
